Instrument Technician (Entry Level)


As an Instrument Technician (Entry Level) in our company, located in Greenland, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of instruments used in industrial processes. This is a contract job with a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and hook-up of new instruments according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on instruments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments

Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but a background in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred
- Knowledge of basic electronic circuits and wiring
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment
