Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land surfaces to determine boundaries, locations, and features. Your main duties will include conducting field surveys, analyzing data, creating maps and reports, and providing recommendations based on your findings. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques, as well as the ability to operate surveying equipment such as GPS receivers and total stations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (French or German language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physically fit to work outdoors for extended periods of time
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones
- Collect data on land features and boundaries using traditional methods or advanced technology
- Analyze collected data to create accurate maps, reports, and other documentation
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, architects, and construction workers to ensure accurate measurements are taken for project planning purposes
- Provide recommendations based on survey findings to clients or project managers
- Maintain accurate records of surveys conducted and ensure all legal requirements are met for property boundaries
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the field of land surveying
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Wiltz. The salary for this role is $1400 per month. Part-time positions may also be available depending on qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with their own valid visa for working in Wiltz.
