Body Repair Technician
As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes diagnosing and assessing damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, and performing body work and paint jobs. You will also be expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and be skilled in using various tools and equipment. Attention to detail is crucial in order to accurately assess damage and perform repairs. Previous experience in body repair is preferred but not required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
Your primary responsibility will be to repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. This may involve removing dents, welding or replacing damaged panels, sanding and painting, as well as aligning frames and body components. You may also be required to perform quality control checks on completed repairs.
In addition, you will need to communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicle's repairs. Therefore, strong communication skills are important in this role. You must also be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
This is a contract job with the potential for long-term employment based on performance. The salary for this position is $1700 per month. The location for this role is Funchal, Portugal.
