Head Baker


As a Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the baking operations in our bakery located in Bayan, Egypt. You will lead a team of bakers and ensure the production of high-quality baked goods while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Your expertise in creating new recipes and managing inventory will be crucial to the success of our bakery.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bakers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Develop new recipes for baked goods and continuously improve existing ones
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards and are presented attractively
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet demand
- Collaborate with other departments to plan menus for special events or holidays
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into our bakery offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a professional baker, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity in developing new recipes while also able to follow established recipes accurately
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs through efficient ordering practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Passion for baking and staying current with industry trends
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Bayan, Egypt (open to non-Egyptian candidates who are willing to relocate)
