JAVA Developer


We are hiring a skilled JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Sheduva, Kenya. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications. Your main duties will include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software development.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, and experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also required.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing high-quality software applications using Java
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements
- Writing clean, efficient and well-documented code
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing code
- Conducting unit testing to ensure software meets functional requirements
- Maintaining code quality by conducting code reviews
- Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of Java development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and web development frameworks (Spring/Hibernate)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
