Interpreter - English/Danish



We are currently seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and Danish languages for various clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone, or through video conferencing for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in interpreting conversations and written materials
- Facilitate communication between English-speaking and Danish-speaking individuals
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research terminology specific to each assignment to ensure accurate interpretation
- Act as a cultural liaison between parties if necessary

Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Danish languages with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years of experience as an Interpreter or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or a relevant field preferred
- Experience with different types of interpretation techniques (consecutive, simultaneous, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs in both English-speaking and Danish-speaking regions
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
