Instrument Technician

We are a leading company in the oil and gas industry, seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Washington. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of instruments used in the production and processing of oil and gas. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Install new instruments as needed
- Work with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in oil and gas production
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit to perform job duties which may involve working at heights or in confined spaces
