We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. This position is suitable for men without prior experience, as training will be provided.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main duties will include safely operating the equipment to move materials, load and unload trucks, and assist with construction projects.

To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of heavy equipment mechanics and possess excellent hand-eye coordination. You must also be physically fit to handle the demands of the job and able to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, cranes, etc.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Inspect machines before and after use for any damages or malfunctions
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisors immediately
- Move materials using heavy machinery as directed by supervisors
- Load and unload trucks with materials or equipment
- Assist with construction projects as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator is not required but considered a plus
- Willingness to learn on the job and attend training as needed
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment mechanics preferred

Salary:
This part-time position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.
