Executive Chef
The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations at our high-end restaurant in Aalborg. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional menu, managing a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all food items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating unique and delicious dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative and high-quality menu that meets the standards of our restaurant
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experiences for guests
- Continuously seek out new ingredients, techniques, and recipes to enhance the menu
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, menu development, and cost control
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport or Danish citizenship preferred
