Welder Technician

We are in need of a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Almada. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together, following blueprints and specifications. You will also be expected to inspect and test welded components to ensure they meet quality standards.

To excel in this role, you should have strong knowledge and experience in welding techniques and procedures, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Attention to detail, physical strength, and good hand-eye coordination are also essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up welding equipment according to specifications
- Operate various welding tools such as MIG, TIG, or arc welders
- Join metal components together using appropriate welding techniques
- Inspect welded parts for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Conduct tests on welded components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to safety precautions and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Physical strength and good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own visa preferred (but not required)
- Suitable for men (but open to all applicants)
