Typesetter

A publishing company in Horsens is seeking a talented typesetter to join our team. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting text and images for print and digital publications. This is a contract job with accommodation provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use design software to format text and images for various publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of material
- Follow style guides and templates to maintain consistency across publications
- Proofread final layouts for errors and make necessary corrections
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a typesetter in a publishing environment
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML/CSS coding for digital publications
- Knowledge of different font styles, sizes, and layouts for print materials
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to typesetting

Salary:
$1600/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Horsens (relocation assistance may be provided)
