Contract Equipment Operator


As a Contract Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Identify and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Complete daily logs and reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within designated timelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team setting

Physical Demands:
The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must also have the ability to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position that may require working in various weather conditions. You may also be required to work overtime or weekends depending on project deadlines.

Location:
This position is based in Herning but may require travel within the surrounding areas for different contract projects.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
