Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Randers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Your primary goal will be to provide our customers with delicious and visually appealing treats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes or customer requests.
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and fillings to ensure an attractive presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs or kitchen staff.
- Develop new recipes or modify existing ones to meet customers' preferences or dietary restrictions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role.
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
- Creativity in designing desserts with an eye for detail.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while also being able to experiment with new flavors.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely production of orders.
- Good communication skills to effectively work with other kitchen staff.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
Preferred:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience working in high-end restaurants or hotels.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Salary: 1600$ per month.
