Administrative Assistant
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bayan, Kenya. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our office staff and assist with daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the office
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Manage office correspondence, including emails and letters
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments for staff
- Maintain office supplies and order as needed
- Organize and maintain digital and physical files
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with preparing documents, reports, and presentations
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary: $1700 per month
This is a contract position with flexible working hours. We welcome applicants of all experience levels, including freshers looking to gain experience in an office setting. Fluency in English is not required for this position.
