Executive Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Washington, USA
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our high-end restaurant located in the bustling city of Washington, USA. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and delicious menus, managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and techniques
- Ability to create and execute unique and high-quality menus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train kitchen staff on new techniques and menu items
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary goals
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on marketing strategies to increase restaurant sales
Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef
- Experience working in high-end restaurants or hotels is preferred
Salary: $1700 per month
Accommodation: Provided by the employer
