Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Temporary)
We are searching for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Izhevsk for a temporary position. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and managing the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with a focus on traditional Indian cuisine
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, etc.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes or specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Russian is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
