Cleaner in Svalbard



We are in need of an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Svalbard. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Refill supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Ensure all areas are free of debris and clutter.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Good communication skills in English (other languages are a plus).
- Attention to detail with a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday). The salary for this role is 1400$ per month. As we do not provide accommodation, the successful candidate must have their own living arrangements in Svalbard.
