Database Administrator
We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Vejle. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, stability and efficiency. You will work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot any issues, optimize performance, and implement changes to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of database administration, SQL coding, and data analysis. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Develop backup and recovery plans
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform maintenance as needed
- Work with IT teams to design and implement new databases or changes to existing ones
- Perform routine audits to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Generate reports on database usage, performance, and trends
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL coding and data analysis
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS)
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security, and integrity principles
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Location: This position is located in Vejle but remote work may be possible depending on the candidate's nationality/citizenship status.
Salary: The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
