Land Surveyor



As a land surveyor in Greenland, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping out land features and boundaries. Your main duties will include using specialized equipment and software to collect data, analyzing the data to create precise maps and reports, and ensuring that all measurements are accurate.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in surveying or a related field, as well as several years of experience in land surveying. You must also have excellent knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques, as well as strong mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and drones
- Collect data on land features and boundaries using various methods such as measuring angles and distances
- Analyze collected data to create accurate maps, reports, and other documentation
- Ensure that all measurements meet required accuracy standards
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate design plans
- Attend project meetings with clients to discuss survey results
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Keep up-to-date records of all surveys conducted

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in land surveying
- Excellent knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
- Proficient with specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and drones
- Strong mathematical skills including trigonometry and geometry
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1200 per month based on qualifications and experience.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Greenland.

Greenlandic nationality is preferred but not required. International applicants must have valid work permits for Greenland.
