We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Repair Master to join our automotive repair shop in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition using various tools and techniques. Your duties will include assessing damage, providing estimates, ordering parts, repairing body panels and frames, and performing paint work.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Body Repair Master in an automotive repair shop
- Extensive knowledge of body repair techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical dexterity and stamina
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Assessing damage on vehicles and providing accurate repair estimates
- Ordering necessary parts for repairs
- Removing damaged body panels or frames
- Straightening bent frames using specialized equipment
- Welding new panels into place
- Filling dents with plastic or solder
- Sanding, priming, and painting repaired areas
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met
