Data Mining Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced data mining techniques to gather and analyze large amounts of data from various sources. Your goal will be to identify patterns and trends in the data that can be used to inform business decisions and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Applying advanced data mining techniques to extract insights and identify patterns
- Collaborating with other team members to understand business needs and objectives
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitoring data quality and making necessary adjustments as needed
- Staying updated on industry trends and developments in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data mining or analytics role
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for manipulating large datasets
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and creatively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
