Restaurant Manager
The restaurant manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant in Sofia, Bulgaria. They will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant runs efficiently and meets quality standards, as well as managing and motivating a team of employees. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the hospitality industry and be able to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations
- Ensure that food quality and customer service standards are met
- Hire, train, and schedule staff members
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment according to health codes
- Monitor financial performance and make adjustments to improve profitability
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate employees
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary: 1700$ per month
