Head Chef


We are searching for a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Kolding. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. Your creativity and passion for cooking will be essential in creating delicious and visually appealing dishes that meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menu items while also ensuring consistency with existing recipes
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus
- Maintain a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and respect among staff members

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time-management skills to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations
- A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Salary:
