Senior Caregiver

Our established home care agency is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. This role will involve providing personal and medical care for elderly clients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving, be fluent in English, and have a strong understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for elderly clients
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate medical professionals
- Assist with mobility and exercise routines as needed
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities
- Maintain accurate records of client's care and progress

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in caregiving for seniors
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Certification or training in basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with seniors, their families, and medical professionals effectively
- Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly individuals
