Architectural Technologist - Contract Position in Gujrat, India


We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team on a contract basis in Gujrat, India. As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with architects and engineers to design and develop building plans and technical drawings. You will be responsible for creating detailed drawings using CAD software and ensuring they meet building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the project team. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability. Visa and travel arrangements will be provided for non-Indian applicants.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop building plans and technical drawings
- Create detailed drawings using CAD software
- Ensure all designs meet building codes and regulations
- Review project specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with the project team to address any design issues or changes
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and best practices in architectural technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
