Position: Metal Fabricator
City: Akron, USA
Salary: $900 per week

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our team in Akron. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, assembling, and installing metal components for various structures and products. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Use specialized tools and equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal materials
- Measure and mark metal materials for cutting and shaping
- Assemble and fit metal parts to create finished products
- Install fabricated metal components onto structures or products
- Perform quality checks to ensure that finished products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication or related field
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Proficient in using tools such as saws, drills, shears, grinders, welders
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC machines or computer-controlled equipment is an asset
- Knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding is preferred
