Accountant

Our company in Al-Khor is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Record and maintain financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial information
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding financial performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of local tax laws is a plus

Salary: 1300$
Location: Al-Khor, Qatar (Indian nationals preferred)
