Entry-Level Metal Worker

As an entry-level Metal Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to metalworking, such as cutting, shaping, welding, and polishing. You will work with various metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and copper, to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This role is suitable for men with a passion for metalworking and no previous experience is required. The salary for this contract job is 1400$, without accommodation provided. Own visa is required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and tools to cut, shape, and bend metal materials
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces according to blueprints or instructions
- Weld or solder pieces together using various techniques
- Grind, polish, and smooth rough surfaces of finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety guidelines while working with heavy machinery and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of metalworking techniques and tools (e.g. saws, welders)
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Own visa status in Shan or willingness to obtain own visa

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role or vocational training in metalworking
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
