Data Analytics Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Braga. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis techniques and tools, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex data sets using various tools and techniques
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with other data professionals to continuously improve data quality and reporting processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field
- Proficient in SQL, Python/R or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Analytics or related field
- Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Braga (accommodation provided)
