Surveyor for Real Estate Development in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our real estate development team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our development projects, ensuring their success and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys for proposed development sites, accurately measuring and mapping out boundaries and topography
- Utilize surveying equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and drones to gather data and create detailed reports
- Analyze survey data to produce drawings, maps, and other visual aids for project planning and presentations
- Assist in the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project plans are feasible and comply with regulations
- Monitor construction progress to ensure accurate placement of structures and adherence to design plans
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Surveyor in real estate development projects
- Extensive knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment operation, and mapping software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce accurate reports
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
