Welder (Svalbard)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Svalbard. As a Welder, you will be responsible for operating welding equipment to join metal parts and repair metal structures in various industries such as construction, manufacturing, and shipbuilding. Your main duties will include reading blueprints, selecting appropriate welding techniques, and inspecting finished products for quality.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a similar environment
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures when working with welding equipment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Valid welding certification is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Set up welding equipment according to specifications
- Read blueprints or project plans to determine the appropriate welding techniques
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Inspect welds for accuracy and defects using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month with the potential for growth. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship and travel ticket for successful candidates.
