Entry-Level Typesetter



As an Entry-Level Typesetter, you will be responsible for preparing and formatting text and images for various print and digital media. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. You will be working closely with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in typesetting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to established design standards
- Proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and any potential issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software/tools related to typesetting

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Basic understanding of typography and design principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Previous experience in typesetting is a plus but not required

Salary:
$1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
This position is located in the United States. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US.
