Senior Android Developer
We are hiring a Senior Android Developer to join our team in Remish, India. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month, and we offer free visa sponsorship and ticket for applicants outside of India.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app development for the Android platform
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Familiarity with third-party libraries such as Retrofit, Gson, etc.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing complex user interfaces using XML layouts
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Espresso or Mockito
- Passion for learning new technologies and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
