We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Almada. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the organization and accessibility of our library's resources. This includes cataloging and labeling books, maintaining an accurate inventory, and ensuring that materials are available for borrowing by patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain an organized system for cataloging and labeling books
- Manage the library's inventory by regularly updating records and tracking new acquisitions
- Assist patrons with finding and borrowing materials
- Plan and implement programs and events to promote the library's resources to the community
- Keep up-to-date with current literature trends to ensure a diverse collection of materials is available
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services or programs for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with library software systems
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Knowledge of current literature trends

Salary:
$1100 per month

Location:
Almada
