IT Manager

As an IT Manager in our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall information technology strategy and operations. You will work closely with various departments to understand their technology needs and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. You will also be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring that all systems and equipment are up-to-date and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and systems to meet the company's technological needs
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee the maintenance and security of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and telecommunications systems
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and provide solutions
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
- Develop disaster recovery plans in case of system failures or cyber attacks
- Monitor IT budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for hardware, software licenses, maintenance agreements, etc.
- Provide technical support to employees as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of network security protocols and best practices
- Experience with project management and implementing new technologies/systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Salary: $1100 per month

City: Shan (preference)

Country: Any (preference for Africa)
