Machine Operator


A machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a production or manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise. As a machine operator, you will work with different types of equipment such as lathes, grinders, drills, and presses to produce high-quality products. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the machines and ensuring that they are running efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor various types of machinery according to set procedures
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working order
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
- Technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Physical stamina and strength to operate machinery for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Location: Porto, Portugal (Preference for local candidates)

Salary: $1200 per month (Contract job)
