Apprentice Tiler


As an apprentice tiler, you will be responsible for assisting experienced tilers in the installation and repair of various types of tile surfaces in residential and commercial settings. This is an entry-level position, perfect for those who have little to no experience in the tiling industry but are looking to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of tile surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and removing old materials
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, sealants, and other materials according to specific instructions
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces
- Lay tiles in a pattern or design as directed by the lead tiler
- Assist with the removal and disposal of excess materials
- Clean tools and work area after each project

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in tiling
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

Preferred:
- Previous experience working with hand tools or construction materials
- Vocational training or certification in tiling or a related field
