Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Herning, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting site visits, assessing the condition of buildings, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with contractors and other professionals to ensure that all work is done according to preservation standards and regulations. Additionally, you may be involved in researching historical architecture and materials to inform your preservation work.
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in architecture or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience working on preservation projects. You should also have strong knowledge of building codes, preservation guidelines, and construction techniques. Attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders are also essential for this role.
