Cashier (Al Buraymi, Oman)
We are in search of a dependable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at our retail store in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently, while also providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales offers
- Ensure proper security procedures are followed in handling cash transactions
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Must have basic computer skills for operating POS system
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
We offer competitive salary of 1100$ along with accommodation for foreigners. A valid biometric passport is required for visa processing.
