Executive Chef
Location: Triesen, Egypt (Preference for Egyptian nationals)
Salary: 1500 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Triesen. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our customers. You will be in charge of menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a chef and proven leadership skills. A culinary degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily kitchen operations
- Create menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Monitor food and labor costs to maintain profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to create marketing strategies to promote the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and international cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must be able to obtain a work visa for Triesen (we can provide assistance if needed)
