Skilled Carpenter in Roskilde, Denmark


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, good physical strength and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, chalk lines or marking gauges
- Cut and shape wood using hand or power tools such as chisels, saws and sanders
- Assemble wooden structures by joining pieces together with nails or screws
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim according to specifications
- Inspect finished product for quality and ensure it meets safety standards
- Repair or replace damaged wooden parts of structures as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or relevant trade qualification
- Proficient in using hand and power tools like chisels, saws and sanders
- Good understanding of construction methods and safety regulations
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Contract job with accommodation:
This is a contract position with accommodation provided. The duration of the contract is negotiable depending on the project requirements. Accommodation will be provided close to the worksite for convenience.
