Junior Developer


We are a software development company based in Funchal, looking for a motivated and talented Junior Developer to join our team. As a Junior Developer, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month, and we will provide you with a free visa and ticket to Funchal if you are not currently located in Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to assist in the design and development of software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++).
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred:
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Fluency in English.
