Locksmith Technician


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Locksmith Technician to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain locks and security systems for commercial and residential properties
- Use specialized tools to open locked doors, safes, and other devices
- Create duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Perform routine maintenance on locks and security systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with malfunctioning locks or security systems
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing their concerns and answering any questions they may have
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including time spent on each job and materials used

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Locksmith or in a related field
- Strong technical skills with the ability to use specialized tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Customer service oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Locksmith from a recognized institution
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations related to locksmith work

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This job is based in St. Petersburg but may require travel to nearby locations for certain jobs.
