Indian Pastry Chef
We are in search of an experienced and creative Indian Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Ar-Ruwais. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts using traditional Indian flavors and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide variety of Indian desserts, including but not limited to gulab jamun, jalebi, ras malai, and more
- Develop new recipes and menu items that showcase traditional Indian sweets with a modern twist
- Ensure all products are prepared and presented according to established quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise other pastry kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and ingredients
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary: $1000 per month (tax-free)
