Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Kaunas. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Your main duties will include measuring and mixing ingredients, decorating pastries, and ensuring that all desserts are prepared to the highest quality standards.

To excel in this role, you should have a passion for baking and creativity in designing beautiful and delicious treats. You should also have excellent time management skills to ensure that all orders are completed on time. Additionally, you must be able to work well under pressure and have strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing or piping.
- Ensure that all desserts are prepared to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with other team members on menu planning and new dessert ideas.
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times.
- Train new staff members on pastry techniques.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques such as decorating, baking, and icing.
- Experience working with different types of ingredients including flour, sugar, chocolate, etc.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Creativity in designing beautiful and delicious treats.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts is preferred.

City: Kaunas
Nationality/Location preference: Indian candidates currently living in Kaunas or willing to relocate for the position are preferred. English speaking candidates are also welcome.
