Senior Architect


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our esteemed architecture firm in Porto. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept to final completion
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements
- Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Communicate regularly with contractors, engineers, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and budgets
- Mentor junior architects and guide them in their professional development
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and building codes to ensure compliance in designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architect, preferably in a leadership role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly convey design concepts
and ideas
- Fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is preferred but not required)
- Biometric passport for international travel

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month for part-time employment without accommodation.
