Database Administrator

We are searching for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database systems
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Ensure data integrity and security of databases
- Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and implement database changes
- Perform database maintenance tasks such as upgrades and patches
- Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database design, migration, integration, and optimization
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation in Esbjerg. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Denmark.
