The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research and analysis of historic buildings and sites
- Assessing the condition of existing structures and identifying potential preservation issues
- Developing preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other architects to ensure successful project execution
- Providing support and guidance throughout all phases of a project, from design to construction
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Maintaining accurate records of project details, including budget, timelines, and materials used

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Experience working with local regulations and guidelines for historic buildings
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on projects in Norway or Scandinavia region
- Knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques
