As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales activities of our hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. Your main goal will be to increase revenue and occupancy by driving sales and implementing effective marketing strategies. You will work closely with the hotel's management team to develop and implement sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Coordinate and participate in sales activities such as trade shows, events, and client visits
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns
- Train and supervise the hotel's sales team to ensure they meet their targets
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing a team
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry in Nairobi, Kenya
Salary:
$1600 per month plus commission on achieved targets.
