Metal Worker


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team in Kolding. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal products according to specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine the type and quantity of materials needed
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal sheets or parts
- Cut, shape and form metal stock using manual or automated equipment such as shears, saws, drills or presses
- Weld or join metal pieces together using various techniques such as soldering, brazing or welding
- Smooth out rough spots on metal surfaces using files or grinders
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged parts by straightening or reshaping them using hand tools or machines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Worker
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in operating hand tools and machines used in metalworking
- Knowledgeable in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with metal materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
